Abstract

This research discusses The Role Of The Principal In Improving The Professionalism Of Teachers During The Covid-19 Pandemic In SMP D-Baito Sunan Plumbon. It aims to find out the principal on teacher performance, the principal’s strategy in improving teacher performance, and the principal’s obstacles in improving teacher performance at SMP D-Baito Sunan Plumbon. This thesis uses a descriptive approach using qualitative research methods by exammining the principal’s leadership on teacher performance at D-Baito Sunan Plumbon from the following conclusions: first, teacher peformance at D-Baito Sunan Plumbon Junior High School (SMP) , among others: motivation leadership, suvervisor. The principal’s strategy in improving teacher performance at D-Baito Sunan Plumbon Junior High School includes: increasing discipline, motivating, monitoring teacher performance in class., and rewarding teachers who excel.
