Abstract

Historical literacy is important in this digital era. Studying the history of Islamic civilization is important because it will give us a stronger belief and understanding base to study other fields of religious knowledge such as fiqh and monotheism. The dislike of students in Indonesia to studying the field of history has an impact on the minimal interest in the world of Islamic history. History according to the younger generation is one type of subject that is not liked by most students in Indonesia because of the way of learning that emphasizes memorization rather than understanding the meaning of events. To obtain the results of the study, the researchers conducted quantitative research. The data collection technique used in this research is a survey with a questionnaire through the media Google form which is intended for students of UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung.
