Nasionalisme Santri: Studi Kasus di Pesantren Miftahurrosyidin Madureso Temanggung

Abstract

At this time, various circles sharply highlight the phenomenon of the emergence of radical Islam in Indonesia. This needs to be underlined and contemplated by Muslims themselves, because the growth and development of this radical movement is contrary to the erosion of nasonalism and religious harmony in Indonesia. To deal with this problem, K.H. Thohir Mukhlashin, the Miftahurrosyidin caretaker raised the spirit of nationalism against his student: First, the caretaker awakened the spirit of nationalism when students learn religion knowledge and its temporal and spontaneous nature. Second, adjusting the social reality to the radical movement in the country. Third, the establishment of the spirit of Nationalism santri conducted planned and determined. The last nationalism of the students is an important thing, especially in conjunction with National Day of Santri on October 22 and end the nation by presenting the nationalist masyayikh. The implication of this spirit of nationalism is a resistance as a preventive measure against Islamic radicalism in Temanggung district.
