Kelas Berpondas untuk Meningkatkan Kedisiplinan Peserta Didik Kelas XII IPS2 SMA NU 05 Brangsong
Abstract
Students’ discipline becomes a problem in grade XII IPS-2 SMA NU 05 Brangsong year 2019/2020. There are 33 students consisting of 17 boys and 16 girls. The research goes through pre-cycle, cycle 1 and cycle 2. In pre-cycle, the research is based on data on students’ attendance list. In cycle 2, it is conducted by preparing a smart-phone based class. The teachers make an account in class dojo-application connected to teachers, homeroom teachers, school counselors, parents and students. The application record students’ attendance. In cycle 2, the use of application is maximized by asking teachers and parents to be more active in using the application through their comments. The result is that among 33 students in pre-cycle during 39 learning days, 19 students (58%) are present or have a good discipline and 14 students (42%) are absent and truant or don’t have one. Then, the result in cycle 1 is that the 33 students (81%) are present and 6 students (19%) are absent. Finally in cycle 2, the result is that all students (100%) are present and none (0%) is absent. Based on the data the researcher concludes that Smart-phone based class by using class dojo application can increase students’ discipline.
